• Toelleturm is a famous observation tower in Wuppertal, which was donated by the textil company owner Ludwig-Ernst Toelle. It was inaugaurated on April 29th, 1888.

• Near Toelleturm was between 1894 and 1959 the terminal of the rack railway Barmen.

• The name Toelleturm is also used for an exclusive city quater around it. Toelleturm was closed for visitors between 1963 and 1978.
