Description • The El Cajon Dam is the largest dam in Honduras.
• The minimum level of operation of the hydroelectric plant is 220 meters, the maximum is 290. The curtain of El Cajon is 226 meters (741 feet, equivalent to a 75-story building or the Chrysler Building in New York.) Tall and is a double curvature.
• The main inflow into the reservoir, the Rio Sulaco and the Rio Humuya. The outflow is the Rio Comayagua, on the Río Ulúa in the Caribbean Sea.
