Description
• Observation tower on 517m above sea level, Melibokus mountain, which is from a similiar shape as many TV towers (but much smaller). The tower contains an inn in its basement.

• On its roof there are some transmission antennas for mobile radio services. The tower is a popular target for short Sunday trips as it offers a good view over the area between Manheim and Darmstadt.

• Nearby the tower, has a Communication Relay Site tower of about 50m, called Sendeturm Melibokus of 5 Floors, once from US troops. http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=82970

• At the bottom of this tower, there is nearby, a hang-glider wood ramp for free fly sprots.
