• During the opening in 1998, the stadium had a capacity of 13,500 seats, but after reconstruction work in 2008, it was increased. The Grolsch Veste is mostly used for football matches and home of FC Twente. The existing 4 light masts with a height of 53 meter are destroyed after the season 2008-2009.
