Description
Architect: Jacob van Aaken

The tower already started sagging during the construction when it had just reached a height of ten meters. Construction was continued by building straight on the leaning lower part. As the sagging continued work was stopped when the tower was 42 metres tall, but it was supposed to be 120 meters in height.

The old church next to the tower was not replaced and has been demolished long since.
