- Tallest in Atlantic Canada, 2nd highest in Canada.
Partially restored in 1994 to the period of its original configuration, and designated as a Provincial Historic Site, and a federal heritage building in 1983.

- The Tower at Point Amour is 24 feet in diameter at ground level, and tapers to 8 feet at the cornice. 2 storey dweling.
