Architect: Louis Karol Architects

- The building plan allow all office spaces to have natrual light and views

- The Institute of South African Architects awarded Safmarine House with the Award of Merit. It also received, in 1994, the Fulton Commendation from the Concrete Society of South Africa

- The excavations for Safmarine House revealed some porcelain from China and some earthenware from Staffordshire.

- The 22nd and 23rd floors are home to the roof terraces.
