Description
• Lighthouse was moved in 1914 to actual site and got a new lamp, when it was equipped with a radar transmitter.
• In the Kiel Förde the entrance is to 1895 open imperial Wilhelm's canal which shows today as the Kiel Canal a significant abbreviation for the navigation which can save in this manner the detour about Kattegat and Skagerrak. In the same year two mole fires from which southern, nevertheless, only some years remained in his original location were also initiated.
• Already in 1914 he changed his position, after the sluice arrangements 1914 were renewed and the canal was extended. With the construction of a radar aerial a new lantern was also put on to the red-white grid scaffolding. The old lantern was preserved in the military-historical collection Tamm in Hamburg.
