- Guyed mast used for FM-/TV-broadcasting in Cuxhaven area.

- Mast was built between 1959 and 1961 for sea radio and radio relay transmitters by "Deutsche Bundespost" ( today:
Deutsche Telekom AG") and went in service on April 1st, 1961. In 1963 its height was brought to its actual value by installing the antenna for TV-broadcasting on its top.
In 1977 transmitters of NDR, the public broadcasting company of Lower Saxony, were installed.

- Base of mast is 28 metres above sea level.
