Architect: Leendert Valk

- This is the 3rd highest lighthouse in the Netherlands.

- Old Dutch money-notes of 250 gulden, which showed an image of this lighthouse.

- You can reach the top floor by the 226-step staircase.

- The brick-wall is almost 2,5 meter thick, painted white-red.

- Ships can see the light from a distance of 18 Sea miles (56 kilometre)
