Description
Campen Lighthouse is the tallest and strongest lighthouse from Germany, with 4.5 million candles. It is a lighthouse from remarkable design. In its inside has the oldest MAN motor in Germany, DM20 of 1906. The Diesel Motor since 1976 is out service, cause new technics, one 2,16 m high Light Belt is since 1937 with old Buble Lamps and the called 'Otterblenden' as its main characteristics. Even the relays and electro-mechanics parts are for public in demonstration. It is a lattice tower with triangular cross section.
