Description
- Developer: Oscar Wolff

- Constructor: Sieg-Rheinische-Hütten

- This steel lattice observation tower was developed by factory owner Oscar Wollf, and it was originally named after him (Eiserner Oskar).

- The tower has been renovated once in 1934, and again in 1983.

- The tower was proposed to be demolished in 1942, but World War II put those plans on hold and they were never realized.

- The tower was closed to visitors between 1976 and 1983 because of its poor physical condition.

- Since 2005, the tower has been closed to visitors while the owners work to devise yet another renovation plan for the tower.
