- This unique tower serves as a telecommunications tower, but also as an observation tower.

- The tower sits atop the 626.3-meter-tall Carlshaushöhe mountain.

- The structure replaces the 20-meter-tall Bismarckturm constructed by the Soviets in 1901, which was demolished in 1981.
