- Elstertalbrücke Pirk is the longest stone bridge in Europe, and it cares Autobahn A72 over the Weisse Elster River between from Hof to Chemnitz.

- This bridge began in construction 1937, but was halted during World War II. It did not again start construction until September of 1990. It was finally completed in 1993.
