- This tower, Tasmania's tallest construction, sits atop windswept Mount Wellington over Hobart, and thus, is built to withstand the harsh weather conditions atop the summit.
- This tower houses antenna and transmitters for many companies including Telstra (Australia’s largest telecommunication company), The Wireless Institute of Australia, Austar United, Vodafone (a mobile telephone telecommunication company), and three television stations.
- The tower consists of a hollow, 67-metre-tall reinforced concrete base/shaft topped by a 64-meter-tall steel superstructure that supports an elevator and 3 antennas. The steel superstructure is wrapped in fiberglass to protect the antenna.
