- Sender Flensburg-Engelsby was the successor of Sender Flensburg-Jürgensby.

- The mast is property of NDR and used for AM, FM and TV-broadcasting. For AM transmission, the mast, which is grounded, carries a cage antenna.

- The mast is also used by a Danish broadcasting station, for their own transmissions.
