• World's tallest gasholder since 2001
• The Gasometer Oberhausen is a slab-topped gasholder. A roofed, 24-sided cylinder of sheet steel was fitted with a slab beneath which gas was injected.
• From the roof of the Gasometer, accessible by a glass elevator, visitors can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Western Ruhr Area.
