Description
- The tower belongs, with its twin on Luhesand island, to the second tallest electricity pylons in Germany. It carries, in opposite to its twin on Luhesand, a radar facility for monitoring the ships on the Elbe river.

- The truss tower serves as a high-voltage mast.

- Elbekreuzung 1 (Elbe Crossing 1) added was upgraded in 1978 with the completion of Elbekreuzung 2 (Elbe Crossing 2) located just to the south of Elbe Crossing 1.
