Description - Owner: United States Department of Energy
- Constructor: Dresser-Ideco Company
- This guyed mast tower is used for scientic test research, primarily to measure raditation levels at different heights above the ground.
- This tower was originally erected at Yuca Flat - Area 4 at the Nevada Test Site in 1962.
- The tower was moved to its current location (Jackass Flats - Area 25) in 1966, because the location that it was at was being used for underground bomb testing, which posed a risk to the guyed science tower. The banning of open-air nuclear testing around that time also made it usage obsolete.
