- Architect/Engineer/Maufacturer: Truscon Steel Company

- Upon its completion, this was the world's second tallest structure.

- This tower was used to test LORAN-C and the OMEGA Radio Navigation System.

- The tower was demolished by the army on April 21, 1998 by use of explosives.
