• New York New York Hotel & Casino is a New York City themed resort with replicas of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, AT&T Building, Municipal Building, The Century, Statue of Liberty, U.S Customs House, Ellis Island, Grand Central Station, and Brooklyn Bridge. The resort also includes the Big Apple Coaster which loops around the hotel tower.
• Construction on the $460 million resort began on March 30, 1995 and opened to the public on January 3, 1997.
• The 4 tallest buildings that make up the skyline are replicas of the Empire State Building (529 feet), Chrysler Building (500 feet), The Century (416 feet), and New Yorker Hotel (370 feet).
• Due to copyright issues the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building towers are named Empire Tower and Chrysler Tower.
• Tallest building in Las Vegas from 1997 - 2005, later surpassed by Wynn Las Vegas.
