Architect: Maarten van Tours

- The Martini Church had till 1577 a tower with a spire which was 127 meters tall, then the tallest churchtower in Europe. In 1577 a bonfire made in the tower destroyed the upper part.

- Reconstruction of the tower finished in 1627.
