Description - The Iglica monument was built as part of the Regained Territories Exhibition in 1948 to commemorate Poland regaining control of lands after World War II. It is located near the Hala Stulecia exhibition center.
- The monument was designated one of Poland's national Historic Monuments on April 20, 2005.
- Originally constructed to a height of 106 m, it was reconstructed to a height of 96 m in 1965, though it has since found to have been 90.3 m after a more careful measurement during maintenance in 2016, possible as the result of maintenance performed in 1979.
