Architect: Michael Baker Company

Constructor: U.S. Steel - America Bridge Division

- Cost at Completion: $37,000,000

- Weight: 88,000,000lbs

- Width: 21 meters

- Length of arch: 518.2 meters

- Length of bridge: 923.5 meters

- Height above the valley floor: 267 m

- Up until February of 2003, this was the longest steel-arch bridge in the world. It was surpassed in length by the Lupu Bridge in Shanghai at 550 meters in legnth, 32 more meters than the New River Gorge Bridge.

- This is the second longest bridge in the United States of America.
