Description
Guyed, tubular mast radiator, insulated against ground, used for broadcasting on 972 kHz with a power up to 300 kW. The mast was divided by an insulator in a height of 101 metres electrically in two parts, which allowed separate feeding of lower and upper parts of the mast.
By this measure it is possible to reduce the radiation of skywaves, which enlarges the area, in which fading-free reception of the transmitted signal is possible.

The transmitter, which used the mast as antenna, was shut-down on January 13th, 2015 and the mast was demolished with explosives on December 2nd, 2016. The basements of the mast and its guy anchors are still existing.
