Description
Architect: Pelli Clarke Pelli

- The current design was selected from a competition comprising two other entries, one by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, the other by the Richard Rogers Partnership, and could become the tallest building on the West Coast of the United States.

- A taller, earlier design for the tower was 366 m / 1200 ft with 80 storys.

- The Transbay Terminal Tower will be part of the Transbay Terminal redevelopment district that will include parks, redesigned streets, and high and lowrise condo and office towers.
