- The first Arlington Hotel was completed in 1875, and was three stories tall with 120 guest rooms. In the late 1800's a hundred additional guest rooms, an additional parlour, and a new dining room with electric lighting was added.
- The second Arlington Hotel was completed on the site in 1893. The 5-story Spanish Renaissance-styled property included 300 guest rooms, and glass dome and grand ballroom. It was destroyed by fire on April 5, 1923.
- The current Arlingotn was completed on the site in 1894, and originally included 560 guest rooms as well as an in-house bath house
