- Architect: Donaldson & Meier

- The tower underwent an extensive renovation in 2006, which include the renovation of the facade and the bells in the carillon.

- The memorial carillon tower stands in the center of the old north campus of Michigan State University on the old site of the old College Hall.

- The tower contains the Mortar Board and Tower Guard, two honor societies on campus, and the carillon resides at the top of the tower.
