Description
• Architect: Albert Kahn Associates Inc.

• Once the former laboratory building for the General Motors Corporation, the Argonaut Building was renovated into an educational facility and dormitory for the College of Creative Studies between 2008-2009.

• The building contains all of the undergraduate Design programs of the College of Creative Studies, and all of the graduate programs of the college. It also contains the Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies high school, a watch factory and bicycle workshop and corporate office for Shinola, and Design Core Detroit, a design-oriented incubator. Finally, it contains a 300-unit dormitory for the college.
