Description Built in the early part of the 20th Century, this former Power Plant (Pratt Street Power Plant), discontinued generation in 1973. By the1990's, it had become a rundown eyesore in the center of Baltimore's Inner Harbor District.
A plan to rebuild the plant into a modern commercial & entertainment facility was formed and doors opened in 1999. Over 180,000 square feet of usable space was generated for major retailers, however the focal point remains the four giant smokestacks rising to 192' and 13' diameter.
