Description
- This is the second largest historical Buddha statue in Japan, and constructed of bronze.

- It is precisely 13.35 meters in height.

- This statue was originally located inside of a temple. But, the temple was washed away by a tsunami tidal wave near the end of the 15th century leaving the statue outdoors.

- It now lies on the grounds of the Kotokuin Temple.

- Weight: 121 tons

- Costs 20 yen to enter the statue itself. Inside the statue it is possible to see the repair work done to reinforce the neck.
