Description
• Wooden lattice tower carrying an antenna with skywave surpression properties, which replaced the first used T-antenna of Königsberg-Amalienau transmitter http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=58613
• The tower was originally used as suspension tower of the T-antenna of Heilsberg transmitter. When this was replaced by an antenna with fading surpression properties, it was dismantled and
afterward rebuilt at Königsberg-Amalienau transmitter, whereby the old pinnacle was replaced by a wire ring on the top as capacitive enlengthening of the wire antenna hung up in the tower.
• In 1938, it was dismantled and replaced by a 50 metres tall guyed mast, which was probably destroyed in April 1945 by war acts.
