This building has 40 floors above ground + 2 penthouse floors.

It is currently being demolished to make way for BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA Tower N (https://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=112635). Demolition work started in October 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of April 2028.

The Hamamatsucho Building (Toshiba Building) will become the tallest building ever demolished in Japan, surpassing the old World Trade Center Building (https://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=2870).

As of January 2026, the building is still standing.
