Description • ATLAS-I (abbreviation for Air Force Weapons Lab Transmission-Line Aircraft Simulator) is the largest wooden structure in the world. It was built in order to examine the effects of EMP waves on flying aircraft.
The EMP is generated by a Marx Generator with a peak power of 200 GW at a voltage of 10 MV.
