Description
Architect: Thomas F. Marshall Associates

• Arizona's second tallest building since it's completion in 1976 and the first skyscraper to be constructed in Phoenix with an automatic fire sprinkler system.

• The building originally served as the headquarters for Arizona Bancwest until it was acquired by Security Pacific Bank in 1986. Bank of America acquired SPNB in 1992 and occupied the building until the nearby Bank of America Tower was completed in 2000. The building was renamed to the U.S. Bank Center in 2005 and adorned their logo until vacating in 2022.

• A seven story parking garage occupies the bottom floors located above the lobby.

• A rooftop antenna rises above the building and is decorated with Christmas tree lights during the holiday season, similar in style to the nearby Hyatt Regency Phoenix.

• The building underwent renovations in 2005 and 2021.
