Description
• The largest pyramid actually is a Mountain Tomb, the Maoling Mausoleum, of the Tang dynasty. Empress Wu was the first female leader of China and her tomb was constructed around 700 AD. The tomb is extremly large. The structure was originally a small mountain which had piled-up around it until to be shaped into a pyramid. Only in aerial views is seen that it is like a pyramid from all sides, which is probably why many adventurers can't find it. Around this main pyramid are several smaller pyramids, about 37 in total, which are those of the relatives of the empress, making man-made hills that seem of nature.
