Description Architect: China Architecture Northeast Design Insistute
The building of the People's Bank of China and the Bank of China Liaoyang Branch is built across from the station, resembling a gate tower with a three section facade design. The base is made of black granite, stable and dignified; The middle section is made of white bricks, and there is a glass curtain wall in the middle that is 3 bays wide and 8 floors high, which can reflect a distant Liao Dynasty ancient tower onto the street garden and sidewalk. The top is designed in three horizontal sections, with symmetrical proportions and staggered patterns. Its dark brown wavy tiles, red glazed tiles, and sloping roof form create the effect of a large roof. The architecture cleverly combines borrowed scenery with the environment, and uses modern materials and techniques to express traditional images and characteristics.
