Description
Architect: Ahmad Ben Basso

The belfry was built as minaret in 1184–1198, by Ahmad Ben Basso, and damaged by an earthquake in 1356.
The cathedral was built during 1402–1506.
The belfry was topped out by statue of Giraldillo in 1568.
