Description
The castle tower is approximately 18 meters (59 ft) tall. It sits on top of a typical japanese castle stone base or podium (tenshu-dai ishigaki), which measures 6 meters (20 ft) in height, bringing the total height to 24 meters (79 ft).

The "finished" year shown above corresponds to the original castle, which has also been said to have been built in the year 1500. It was destroyed during WWII and rebuilt in 1959, with later renovations taking place as well.
