Description
The church - including its tower, which was the tallest church tower ever built in Denmark - was destroyed during the bombardment of Copenhagen by the British Royal Navy on September 5th, 1807. It was replaced from 1817 to 1829 by a new church at the same site ( https://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=166001 ).
