Developers: • UR - Urban Renaissance Agency • The Asahi Shimbun Company • The Asahi Building • Chugoku Electric Power Transmission & Distribution (Chūgoku Denryoku Network)
• This building is planned to have 31 floors above ground + 2 penthouse floors (excluding the above-ground parking area)
• The notice of construction plan posted at the site lists a floor count of 34 (above ground); this figure likely reflects the north side of the skyscraper, where a portion of the building will contain an above-ground parking area; because these parking levels have lower ceiling heights than the other floors, the building will ultimately have more floors on the north side; when the mechanical penthouse floors are included, the total floor count on that side reaches 36
• Andaz Hiroshima is planned to occupy the uppermost floors (expected to open in 2027)
• The project also includes the construction of two lowrise buildings: a substation building (5 floors above ground) and a municipal bicycle parking building (5 floors above ground, 1 basement floor); the bicycle parking facility is expected to be built after the skyscraper and the substation are completed (planned for 2029)
• Construction of the skyscraper reached the top floor in December 2025, as reported by kamihachi-hajimaru.com
