Description The exact construction date of Söyembikä Tower is unclear and disputed. While some sources claim the building dates as far back as the 15th century, it did not appear in any depictions or descriptions of the city before the late 17th century, and most estimates put the date of the building's construction around the turn of the 17th-18th century. The building had a lean of 198 centimeters (78 in) off-center in the 1990s, but was subsequently stabilized.
