Description Peñarroya Chimney was built for Peñarroya lead smelter situated in Santa Lucia, which does not exist any more. The chimney was built on a mountain outside the area of the smelter and connected with an underground smoke tunnel. This measure allowed leaving the exhausts in a great height without erecting a very tall chimney.
