Architect: Reid & Reid


• The exterior is lit by 1,800 lights, turned off between WWII and its restoration in 1972 and has been included in the US National Register of Historic Places since 1996, named after Charles Samuel Jackson.

• The clocks on the top of the building are 12.5 feet in diameter.

• Transwestern Investment Company, LLC acquired the property on March 24th, 2000 and sold it on December 30th, 2002.

• It was renamed to the Jackson Tower after the Oregon Journal newspaper moved its headquarters.
