Description
Architect: Tachū Naitō

Nagoya TV Tower, completed in 1954, was Japan’s first tower of its kind.

It features both indoor and outdoor observation decks, at approximately 90 meters (295 ft) and 100 meters (328 ft) high. Google Earth measurements indicate that the indoor observation deck’s floor is around 85 meters (279 ft) high.

Renovation work was completed in 2020, including the addition of THE TOWER HOTEL NAGOYA—the world’s first hotel inside a TV tower, according to TimeOut. The hotel has a total of 15 guest rooms and is certified as SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World).

On May 1, 2021, the tower was renamed Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER.
