Description
Three towers carrying the conductors of the longest powerline span in Northern America (3248 metres before 1962, today 3421 metres) across Kootenay Lake. Each conductor of the crossing, which was originally operated with 170 kV, but is today used for 69 kV, is fixed on its own tower, so there are three anchor towers
