Architect: CBT (dormitory); Levi Newcomb (Dobson Building); Clarence Blackall (Modern Theater)
Developer: Suffolk University

The Dobson Building was originally constructed in 1876 and was renovated in 1914 to become the Modern Theater. In 2007, after years of neglect, Suffolk University purchased the theater and constructed a 12 storey student dormitory behind the retained façade of the original theater.
