Description - In 1467 the chuch's 106.1-meter tower was destroyed by fire, which was rebuilt to a shorter height from 1479 to 1513. This tower was destroyed by fire on June 8th, 1613 and rebuilt in the baroque style in 1692. This tower was later replaced by one of a height of 96.5 meters from 1902 to 1903.
- The church was heavily damaged during an air raid in 1945 during World War II. The church was rebuilt, but without a pinnacled spire.
