Architect: Acem Esir Ali

- This is the largest historical mosque in Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus serves as the main congregational mosque of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- The mosque was damaged during the Siege of Sarajveo, but quickly began construction in 1996 immediately after the ceasing of the war.
