Description Architect: Roger Zmekhol
• The building - developed by Morse & Bierrenbach - was one of the first high-rises in the city with a curtain wall glass facade.
• It housed many corporations and organizations, most notably Comercial Vidros do Brasil (CVB), INSS, and then lastly the Federal Police until 2003. Due to debts, the government took ownership of the building in 2002 and it was soon abandoned and became occupied by squatters.
• The building was desginated historic in 1992 by CONPRESP.
• On May 1st, 2018, a fire started in the building, and after approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, it collapsed, damaging surrounding buildings.
